This may be a good start, but the solutions do not end with police and government taking action. It is imperative that everyone in civil society who abhors this hateful bigotry and endorsement of violence (aka the vast majority of Westerners) treat any expressions of it as a violation of our universal moral TABOOS.
We all must ostracize this hate out of polite society and our mainstream politics, as we did to marginalize and defeat the KKK here in the US. If we don't, even if the police try to stamp it out, it will continue to fester and normalize and lead to further anarchy and violence. We all have a role to play to hold the line and #MakeTaboosTabooAgain.
We're in agreement! I think the vast (silent) majority abhor this hateful bigotry, it's just a vocal minority that is making it seem both common. If we all collectively denounce and shun it as TABOO, it won't seem tolerated and won't normalize.

This is probably a very small step towards what must be the end goal. We cannot have ANY marches in this country which call for violence, eradication or are outright against the culture here. I believe a total ban is needed.

The Met will almost certainly use this weekend to create more misdirection, using performative actions to mislead the far right and their armchair-bound accomplices as to the function and values of the police. Inspect the discrepancies in IOPC cases to see what the values and function of the police are, what actions and what officers are protected. It doesn’t flatter you, or Lucy Connolly, or Yaxley-Lennon.

I am pretty sure there have been a lot more than 33 hate marches. The first one was on 8th October!
I expect all the resources mobilised for Saturday will be deployed against the UTK march and not the 'Nabka Day' march.
