These are lies. The injuries are real. They were carrying real aid. The trophy video of the humiliation they suffered is real. Non-violent protest has nothing to do with being a clown.
Sure, I'm not arguing with any of that. but what was the point? Humiliation of Israel and their own debasement? Other than proving they are good people they are doing nothing for the Palestinians at all. Where is this aid? Think of all the resources, the carbon, etc to fly these people to these little boats etc. What was achieved truly for those they care about? You already hate Israel etc? It just more confirmation for you? You didn't need it. Total waste
It's a similar approach as monks who light themselves on fire, or Ghandi's followers starving themselves, or MLK protestors allowing themselves to be attacked by dogs and sprayed with firehoses. People can say that they care about something, other people will show that they care by putting their bodies on the line and showing willingness to experience real pain to confront the brutality of what they can't live with anymore. Showing care in a real way is the point. Yes, getting attention, but getting that attention to raise awareness and wake people up to the seriousness of the problem. If I lived in a country where I was being starved out by a foreign power, the idea of people across the world trying to show up with boats of food for us despite certain violence to raise awareness about our plight, I would weep with gratitude that someone cares and we're not forgotten. It's showing real solidarity.
I don't know what it means to "hate Israel". Israel is a name given to land and refers to a people as varied in opinion as any other people. I can't hate land and it's ridiculous to paint an entire population with the same brush. I hate that any group of people would be considered subhuman, overpowered, and tortured with the destruction of everything they hold dear. I hate it when it happened to Jewish people, I hate it when it happens to Palestinians. All people deserve to live in peace.
What can we do? The world's gone mad? On the same day that Australia holds a public royal commission into 1
5 sir dead at Bondi our national broadcaster does a long interview with one of these activists. Treating her like a hero
Honestly I don’t know. We just have to keep exposing them and hope eventually people understand what they are.
The schools and teaching is totally captured
These fuckers should all be dropped straight into Gaza and stay there. They'll soon change their tune.
Let them go to Gaza!

I wish they would light themselves on fire instead. Rather than go on a pleasure cruise in the Mediterranean
Why?
